And the New Darna is... Marian Rivera - The Least We Expected

It's true. It's Marian Rivera indeed is the New Darna on the Kapuso Network as told in the news yesternight. At first we're actually guessing who the next Darna will be. Names that came out were Jennylyn Mercado, Katrina Halili, Carla Abellana or anyone but Marian Rivera.

But everything came a surprise when it was announced that it was indeed Marian Rivera. We have no objections or maybe we really do. Its just that Marian has been a mainstay in the primetime television. Won't you even give Marian Rivera a break. We won't be surprised if suddenly we hear a news that Marian Rivera suddenly collapsed due to over fatigued. Same goes to the fans. Perhaps we would want to miss Marian for a while, not having the feeling like "Si Marian na naman.. Wala na bang iba?"
